About James

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin James Laurent is a 23 year old singer-songwriter living in California blending alternative rock, hip-hop, emo-rock, and pop-punk music seamlessly together. Eight years of dedication has brought James to the spearhead of his Debut EP "Icarus". 

Bursting onto the Los Angeles music scene as an Audio Engineering prodigy at 19 years old, James has made a name recording, mixing, and mastering for industry giants such as Nelly, A$AP, Smokepurpp, Drew Love, Bigheadonthebeat, as well as major labels such as Sony and Warner. James has gathered a lot of eyes and It is with these eyes that James is now dedicated to his own artistry.

Developing Wavy Clique Entertainment when he was 17 years old, James has consistently taken new and promising young talent under his wing and helped produce and engineer their music to guide those aspiring around him. His latest additions to Wavy Clique include Dark Pop Breakout artist Laney Piper, Hip-Hop up-and-comer VV$ Royal, and Actor/Indie artist Spencer James.
